There is also no VAT on top. MP Electrical is not VAT registered, so the price we give you is the price you pay.

Hello, I am Mat
I have been an electrician for over 25 years and I run MP Electrical here in Rotherham. Michael looks after the enquiries and the diary, and I am the one who turns up and does the work.
You get told straight what the job needs in plain English, a clear price before we start, and a date we turn up on. Dust sheets down, shoes off, job left clean. Big job or small, you get the same off us.
When we fit a consumer unit we fit a fire extinguisher inside the board as standard, and every circuit gets its own protection, so a fault takes out the one circuit rather than the whole house.
Electrics is what we do, helping people is who we are.
Common questions
Is the quotation free?
Quoted work such as a fuse board, a rewire or an EV charger is quoted free with no obligation. Fault finding is different, because we are attending to trace and fix a fault, so that is booked as a chargeable appointment and we tell you the cost first.
How quickly will I hear back?
Monday to Friday we are usually straight back to you. Weekends we are not always at the phone, so it might be Monday.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
We work Monday to Friday. We can sometimes sort an evening or a weekend if that is the only way to get you seen, but it is by arrangement rather than something we offer as standard. Just ask when you get in touch.
Are you registered?
MP Electrical is NAPIT registered and fully insured. Work that is notifiable under the Building Regulations is registered with building control, and you get the certificate for it.
