This website is run by MP Electrical, the trading name of MP Electrical and Renewable Energy Limited, an electrical contractor based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We are registered with NAPIT, membership number 60063.

What These Terms Cover

These terms cover your use of this website only. They are not the terms for work we carry out. If we quote for a job, the terms for that job are set out in the quote itself and agreed with you before anything starts.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Using This Site

You are welcome to read anything here, print it, and share it. What you must not do is try to break into the site, interfere with how it runs, or use it to send anything unlawful or abusive.

The Information on This Site

Everything on here is written in good faith and kept as accurate as we can, but it is general guidance and nothing more. Every property is different. Advice that fits one house may be wrong for the one next door.

Nothing on this site replaces someone qualified looking at your installation in person, and nothing here should be taken as instructions to carry out electrical work yourself. A good deal of domestic electrical work is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations and has to be done and certified by a competent person.

Quotes and Bookings Made Through This Site

Nothing on this website is a fixed price or a binding offer. When you send an enquiry or book a slot, you are asking us to get in touch. A quote is only a quote once we have seen the job, or discussed it properly with you, and put it in writing.

Our online booking is provided by ServiceM8 and runs on their website. A booking is a request for a visit until we confirm it.

Our Content

The words, photographs and guides on this site are ours, including the photographs of our own jobs. You are welcome to link to any page. Please ask before republishing our content somewhere else.

Links to Other Websites

We link out to other sites where it helps, for example to NAPIT or to government guidance. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Availability

We do our best to keep the site up and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on general information published on this website rather than getting the property looked at properly.
